About Sauly's Place

Sauly's Place opened in 2006 to fulfill a dream to help others learn about the art of cake decoration and find their own creativity through the use of its beauty.

Sauly Anderson, one of the former owners of Amazing Cakes of California (sold in 2008), started decorating cakes as a hobby in 1980. From there it was just a few years until friends and relatives persuaded her to look into decorating professionally. Sauly has made countless cakes of different shapes and sizes for all types of occasions including weddings, birthdays, graduations, and holidays. With more than 20 years of professional experience, she has created Sauly's Place to share her knowledge of confectionary art with others.
